Equipped with a hunger for both food and knowledge, we made our first stop: Green Point Seafood and Oyster Bar. The burger here featured double smash patties with white American cheese, shredded lettuce, pickles, grilled onions, and a vibrant remoulade. Priced at $19, this burger brought a refreshing seafood twist, embodying the lighter side of the typical burger feast. The creative use of remoulade hints at the restaurant's roots and captures your interest. I recall savoring the crispy char of the patties while my companions debated whether the remoulade overpowered the meat’s flavor.

Next on our delightful tour was Beverley’s. Known for their dry-aged beef burgers, Beverley’s combines double smash patties, American cheese, caramelized onions, pickles, and their special sauce—all for $19. This burger, reminiscent of the classic Big Mac, redefines the definition of a cheeseburger with its gooey, rich sauce and heavenly flavors making it a total crowd-pleaser. Just picturing it brings back a wave of comfort and warmth.
